The Garden Restaurant is a fresh take on a storied dining space inside one of downtown Salt Lake City’s crown jewels.
We’re on the ground floor of the historic Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the former Nauvoo Café space—now with direct street access and a newly renovated dining area. While we share a name with the former Garden Restaurant on the 10th floor, we’re offering a new experience with quick lunch service.
Dine in or order online Monday-Friday 11 a.m.-3 p.m. to try our savory soups, fresh salads, and made-to-order sandwiches or signature dishes like our turkey pot pie.
We’re conveniently located in downtown Salt Lake City next to Temple Square, City Creek Mall, and the Temple Square TRAX station. Parking under the Joseph Smith Memorial Building can be accessed while heading west on South Temple Street.
